Salon 2010 The making of…

Made this sculpture for a exhibition in Versailles, France.

I build the sculpture out of MDF, PIR foam and epoxy.

When the sculpting part  was finished these two craftsman,

Barre Verkerke (left) and Gert-Jan Nijsse (right) made the robot

look like it was made of real marble and oakwood by imitating it.

They did a great job!
